This print is a superb fine art reproduction. "Mickey to Tiki Tu Meke" is a wonderful print by one of New Zealand's favourite artists, Dick Frizzell. Frizzell has humourously morphed Mickey Mouse into the tiki, a New Zealand design icon. Dick Frizzell (1943- ) studied art at the Canterbury School of Arts from 1960-1964 before working in advertising. Frizzell left advertising to lecture at the Elam School of Fine Arts in Auckland. Dick's print-making is strongly grounded in NZ and in pop culture and his superb technical grasp of the printmaking process has seen him produce some of NZ's most sought after series of prints.
