I love the look of origami and have made a few pigs over the years and many napkin flowers, but that is about it.
When I decided to take on this origami, graphic design project, I decided to enlist some help. A big thank you to Flynn, who loaned me a large bag of his folded paper creations.

They provided great inspiration as I made these designs. These t-shirts include a cute mother bear with her cub, pink pigs, a whale (inspired by Moby Dick), Emperor penguins protecting their eggs, the classic paper crane and a cute fox.

The illustrations show the origami animals made from patterned paper. I created the argyle patterns in clip studio paint.

When I was traveling in South Thailand, Phuket, I found myself alone at a bar. Usually that would be a sad and lonely place to be, but the woman behind the bar was good company.

She kept telling me about all the men she had done Jiggy Jiggy with recently.
She kept asking "Do you want to play games with me?"
I kept repeating "No"
Eventually I worked out she meant actual games, when she pulled out connect 4.
We played a few games for drinks, she won them all.

This design was inspired by that night of games, with no Jiggy Jiggy.

I think it is fair to say that some Dads do things that are really Dad like (Dadish). Trying to be cool, but really being a little embarrassing. This was really fun to create. Watermelon slices cut to form a peace symbol. Fruit prints are popular right now, because they are trendy and FUN. To give this watermelon peace symbol some extra green, earthy cred it has a distressed green background.
