Modify Watches are custom timepieces, hand-assembled in San Francisco. Our tagline is Show Your Colors, and we mean it. Our belief is that you should be able to wear your passion on your wrist, whether its the logo of your favorite NBA/MLB/NHL team, a photo of your niece, a gift you got your employees, or an inside joke between you and your friends.

I have opened a shop at Teepublic

A few weeks ago I signed up to sell my designs at Tee Public. I really like it, they have great shirts with large print areas. They offer kids shirts too, which for me is great as much of my art is aimed at kids.

This is how Teepublic describe themselves...

"TeePublic is a curated community of the worlds best designers. Our platform enables designers to upload as many t-shirt designs as they want, create their own store and build a following without having to worry about printing or shipping. When a designer uploads a new t-shirt, it's on sale for $14 for the first 72 hours, after that it's only $20 or $22 for 2xl-3xl."

A bit of fun for those who are proud to be weird, or proud of their weird friends and weird life.

Teepublic is run by the good people at Busted Tees. So far I have been very impressed by their customer service. They are prompt and friendly.

Here are a few of my designs.

Black and white Hei Tiki playing a red drum. A New Zealand / Aotearoa design. Hei Tiki, often know as Tiki. I designed this Tiki based on the traditional style that all Kiwi’s know and love and added in the drum for a bit of fun. A reminder of home for a Kiwi on their O.E, a drummer player, for anyone really.

A badger playing a saxophone. A fun black and white image of a badger. I have given this badger a hipster vibe by putting him in a black turtle neck. The badger is drawn only in black. The background is green. A design of the music lover.

A old school MTB (Mountain bike) or trials bike, drawn in back and white. The text is Yellow and is shaded in pink. It reads RETRO, with the “O” being formed by the front tyre of the bike.

This design is for those loving Mums who support their rebellious children. A sewing machine crafting a Anarchy banner. This was inspired by a friends mum who knitted him a slayer jersey when we were kids.

A black and white owl with huge yellow eyes. This vector drawn artwork features a stylized owl, perched on a black and white branch. The owl has a quizzical look on his fluffy face.

Think before you ink, spelled wrong, fink before you ink. This design is my take on tattoo’s. I love art, I am an artist but I can’t buy a sweater I will still like in two years, let alone choose a tattoo that I will still like in 50 years. Tattoos are becoming mainstream these days, they do look cool (although a lot of that has to do with great photography and lighting). If you want a tat, or love tats, that is fine by me but think before you ink. Think about the design, your job, hepatitis, how drunk you are and who is this person that I am about to let brand me.

Retro Camp Stove design. This is a vector drawn image of a Swedish style pack away camp stove. These are cool little, self pressurizing stoves, loved by stove collectors and hikers. Stoves of this design were made in Sweden, Korea, Russia and various other countries.

This stunning nebula image was taken under the “Wing” of the small magellanic cloud, using the Hubble space telescope.
