I sat down today to draw a moped for my retro collection. When I was done it was clear the design needed more. So a squished and squeezed this giraffe onto it. The cartoon style giraffe has a cheeky face and it's tongue is trailing behind it. A fun design for fans of retro mopeds, and motor scooters. This design is one other products in my redbubble store. The Rime of the Ancient Mariner. I realise this image is essentially the opposite of the way the poem goes but I still feel it represents this classic tale well. The poem was written by by the English poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge. It is a sailors tale of a epic journey at sea.
A ship is driven south by a storm to Antarctic waters. An albatross appears and leads them to safety. However the Mariner kills the albatross. As the whether calms and warms the sailors are happy until the wind stops.

"Day after day, day after day,
We stuck, nor breath nor motion;
As idle as a painted ship
Upon a painted ocean."

The crew hang the albatross around the mariners neck to show the burden he carries for this.

Ah! Well a-day! What evil looks
Had I from old and young!
Instead of the cross, the albatross
About my neck was hung.

The poem goes on as the death and despair visit the ship, but the mariner is spared. When he prays the bird falls from his neck, but the burden new leaves him, he walks the earth telling his tale.

This design  has a black and white albatross flying with a human skull around it's neck.

This was really fun to create. Watermelon slices cut to form a peace symbol. Fruit prints are popular right now, because they are trendy and FUN. To give this watermelon peace symbol some extra green, earthy cred it has a distressed green background.

A layered collage of piano keys. This music inspired, piano key pattern has the keys marked out with their respective notes. This was inspired by my daughters keyboard, which is marked in this way to help her learn the notes. The keys are coloured in progressive shades of grey. This gives the keyboard a zig-zag appearance when viewed from a distance. This design is for sale on a variety of products in my society6 and redbubble stores.

A fist clutching at some bacon. The logo reads I’ve got your back. This has been changed to I’ve got your bacon. The hand is making the shaka sign, sometimes known as “hang loose”. This one was fun to design. These designs as found of the below products in my red bubble piedaydesigns store.

This cool yellow polyvore set includes my bacon foot design, which was inspired by Cara Delevingne. I love it when people use my designs in polyvore sets. It is nice to see things in different contexts. I have this design for sale on various items in my red bubble and society6 shops.
